I had a GIS Consulting company, but was forced to retire due to several blood-related diseases. I had a bone marrow transplant in 2003 to overcome the problem and up to now have done well. I am now retired, have written a western novel and a documentary of my transplant, and spend a lot of my time creating greeting cards with the purpose of marketing them to hospital gift shops to help make patients laugh. I have over 200 now in all the major categories. Most all are humorous, to include a full set of illness-specific cards (various cancers, bone marrow transplant, kyphoplasty, etc.).
